How it works

  1. 01

We find them. Licensed electricians who already have a job, maybe unhappy, good at it. Our ads show the pay right in them, near your job.

  2. 02

We talk with each one first. On the call, we look up his license with the state while he's on the phone, and screen the work, the pay and the start date. Then we put him on your foreman's calendar, with a one-page sheet.

  3. 03

You interview. Meet him and do what you do best. You make the call. No-shows never count.

WireHandsWhat's your license number? I'm pulling it up while we talk.

MarcusJourneyman. Had it eleven years.

WireHandsGot it, active. What were your last three jobs?

License checked live, while he's on the phone.

When an interview counts

One written standard, the same one in your agreement. Each part is something he told us on the call, or something you see yourself.

An interview counts when all of these are true:

  1. His license is checked live and active.
  2. He has the years at the level you asked for.
  3. He has done the work: gear and terms, or service calls run solo.
  4. He lives near your job, or will travel or relocate.
  5. He wants pay inside your range.
  6. He agreed to your drug test and background check.
  7. He shows up: he takes the interview with you or your foreman.

These never make it "not count": he didn't take the job, he took a different offer, or he picked another shop.

No-shows never count

If he doesn't show, you don't pay for it. We replace him inside 48 hours.

Something untrue? Tell us in 24 hours.

It doesn't count if, in the interview, any of 1 through 6 turns out clearly untrue. Tell us within 24 hours which one. We compare it to our call notes and decide within 2 business days. If it didn't match, you don't pay and we book you another. If it matched, it counts.

One electrician, one shop

Every candidate is yours alone. We never sell, share or recycle his information. And we never recruit out of your crews.

New to electrical. Not new to recruiting.

We're new to electrical, so we'll say it straight.

Recruiting is not new to us. Our team has put thousands of people to work in home services, insurance and healthcare, using social media to find people who already have a job and get them on the phone.

WireHands is that same machine, pointed at the electrical trade only. Ads with the pay in them. A call back inside a minute. The license checked on the call.

And because we're new, the guarantee is built in. If we don't book you 5 pre-vetted, licensed electricians in 14 days, you don't pay.

FAQs

What does it cost?

We go over that on the call, once we know your roles and whether we can fill them. You pay when we start, and you get it back for every interview we don't book.

Do you do residential or commercial?

Both. Residential service electricians, and commercial and industrial journeymen and foremen.

Where do the electricians come from?

We find them. They come to WireHands to see what their license is worth. Ads run under our name, with the pay in them, near your job. We never buy, resell or recycle lead lists.

Are candidates shared or resold?

No. Each electrician is booked with one shop. We never sell, share or recycle his information.

What if he doesn't show, or something he told us isn't true?

No-shows never count. We replace him inside 48 hours.

What if all five meet the standard and I still don't hire any?

Then you interviewed five licensed, checked men who wanted pay inside your range and agreed to your process, and you paid nothing for the ones you didn't hire. If none of them fit your shop, that's a pay or role conversation, and we'll have it straight on the call.

Are you a staffing company?

No. He's your employee from day one, on your payroll. We don't employ him and we never take a cut.

Are you going to recruit my guys?

No. We don't recruit out of our clients' crews.

Who runs drug tests and background checks?

You do, under your policy. We confirm up front that he'll take them.

Can you find foremen?

Yes. They're the hardest seat, so expect fewer of them.

Where do you work?

Anywhere in the US. We recruit near your job, and for travel roles, wherever the electricians are.

What if my pay is under the market?

We'll tell you on the call. On travel roles it won't fill. On local roles it sometimes will.

What happens on the call?

30 minutes. We go over the roles, the pay range and the start date, show you how it would run for your shop, and tell you straight if we can fill it.
